In just six years, Whatnot has became a massive player in the hobby.

From Funko pops to sports cards and Pokémon, the shopping platform is among the leaders in domestic livestream selling with more than $3 billion in gross merchandise volume reported in 2024.

Eric Shemtov, the company's general manager of sports, spoke with cllct's Darren Rovell about the company's rapid rise.
