With the Lakers fighting for the playoffs, Bryant played nearly every minute of every game for multiple weeks, until finally his Achilles gave out vs. Golden State. But before he left the court, Bryant sank two free throws, helping the Lakers to secure the win and eventually a playoff spot. The game defined "Mamba mentality."
