Following NBA legend Jerry West's death on Wednesday at age 86, Darren Rovell makes the case that the best way the NBA can honor West's legacy is to finally confirm that West is "The Logo".
For years the NBA has sidestepped the notion, despite the logo's creator, Alan Siegel, saying West was the inspiration for his art.
But not only does Rovell think the NBA should confirm this detail, but the league should make West the logo permanently.
