Actor James Van Der Beek, 48, is auctioning off memorabilia from throughout his acting career to fund his cancer treatment.

The former star of "Dawson's Creek" and "Varsity Blues" is currently being treated for Stage 3 colorectal cancer and has teamed up with Propstore to sell his prized memorabilia from the 1990s classics.

His personal collection will be featured in Propstore's Winter Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction, which will take place from Dec. 5-7, and 100% of the proceeds from his collection will fund his cancer treatment, according to "People."

“I’ve been storing these treasures for years, waiting for the right time to do something with them, and with all of the recent unexpected twists and turns life has presented recently, it’s clear that the time is now,” Van Der Beek told People.

Included in the auction will be classic items such as the necklace that Dawson gave Joey in "Dawson's Creek" and his cleats from "Varsity Blues."

"I’ve been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family,” he told People in November 2024. “There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good."

Van Der Beek is a father of six.
