Leonardo DiCaprio’s memorable speech as Jordan Belfort in “The Wolf of Wall Street,” in which he implores his employees to “pick up the phone and start dialing” to become rich, is one of the most frequently quoted scenes in the film.

During the speech, which culminates in DiCaprio telling his staff to “RAM Steve Madden stock down your clients’ throats,” he explains that “as a rich man,” when he has to face his problems, he shows up wearing a $40,000 gold watch.

That TAG Heuer 1000 Professional, which was worth around $1,000 when it was released in the 1980s, sold for $87,500 at Propstore on Tuesday.

Famously, DiCaprio, a TAG ambassador, takes off the watch in the scene and tosses it into the crowd, telling them to “duke it out.”

According to Propstore, it was the only watch supplied to production during filming.
