Breakout Chicago Cubs star Pete Crow-Armstrong will be one of four players from the team’s active roster to sign autographs at the 2025 National Sports Collectors Convention this summer.
Crow-Armstrong, Kyle Tucker, Michael Busch and Dansby Swanson are all scheduled to sign Thursday, July 31, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
The 45th National Convention, which runs from July 30-Aug. 3, is expected to be among the largest in the history of the event.
“With this being the first of a three-year homestand in Chicagoland for The National, having active roster players from hometown sports teams is a real thrill for us and for fans,” NSCC show managers said in a statement.
Including the active Cubs players, The National announced 19 additional autograph signers for the 45th show Friday, including Julius Erving, Allen Iverson, Ray Lewis, Calvin Johnson, David Ortiz and Jim Palmer.
Anquan Boldin, Cynthia Cooper, Tyler Herro, Julius Peppers, Terrell Suggs and Rick Sutcliffe are among the signers announced Friday who will be making their first appearance at The National.
An early All-Star candidate and MVP contender, Crow-Armstrong has slashed .275/.312/.557 with 16 home runs through 62 games so far this season.
With Crow-Armstrong considered one of baseball’s rising stars, collectors have flocked to his key cards in recent weeks.
The most notable sale for the outfielder arrived in early May when a 2020 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospect Autograph Red Refractor /5 BGS 9.5 sold for $35,400 at Fanatics Collect to set a record for any Crow-Armstrong card at public auction.
