The last shirt Rafael Nadal ever wore in a singles match at Roland Garros is coming to auction, and it's expected to fetch quite the price.

Nadal, who is known as the "King of Clay" for his unparalleled dominance on the surface, won a record 14 French Open titles, the most any player has ever won at any Grand Slam tournament. The grounds of Roland Garros feature a statue of Nadal, and its center court, Philippe-Chatrier, features his permanent footprint.

Nadal played his final singles match on the court in the first round of the 2024 Olympics, falling to his long-time rival Novak Djokovic in straight sets. His Spanish shirt from that match is now up for auction at tennis-only auction house Prestige Memorabilia.

Prestige currently holds the record for selling the most expensive tennis kit ever, which belongs to Nadal's shirt from the 2005 French Open final, the first of his 22 Grand Slam titles. That sold in 2024 for $113,000.

While this shirt might have some difficulty toppling that iconic garment, it certainly has sizable merits to stand on. In addition to being the last shirt he ever wore at Roland Garros, it's the shirt from his final of his 60 matches against Djokovic. The pair played 10 more matches against each other than any other men's duo in history.

The shirt features Spain's national colors, accented by the Spanish flag, and the tag is labeled "custom athlete." The neckline also bears the phrase “Engineered to the exact specifications of Rafael Nadal.”

Additionally, the shirt is fully confirmed by Resolution Photomatching, authenticating its use in the July 29, 2024, match. Bidding ends Feb. 1, the day of the Australian Open Men's Singles Final.

Prestige has been on a heater of late. In addition to already selling the most expensive tennis shirt in history, the auction house also holds the record for most expensive racket. In October 2025, Prestige sold Carlos Alcaraz's Babolat racket from his first Wimbledon title run for a whopping $173,066.
