Resolution Photomatching has updated its pricing structure, moving to a tiered approach based on the estimated value of an item with a successful ResMatch.

There will be a lower pricing tier for items that require less research, including those for which the date of use is already known.

Other tiers will include items that require a full research process. The Premier Research Tier includes “three rounds of research, over 60 protocoled research steps.”

The new pricing structure comes during what the company is calling its “Announcement Week,” with Resolution also unveiling a membership program Tuesday.

As part of the Resolution Membership Program, collectors will receive 15% off all submissions, expedited turnaround times, access to Resolution’s population report and free promotion for items in their collection. The membership fee is $999 per year.

Additionally, a free membership tier will be based on rewards points from submissions.
