He's back, baby!
Bobblehead George Costanza will make his triumphant return to Yankee Stadium this summer, the team announced in a social media post Thursday.
Last season, the Bronx Bombers held their inaugural "Seinfeld" night to honor the 35th anniversary of the iconic sitcom's debut. For that night, the team gave out bobbleheads to the first 18,000 fans in attendance, depicting George at the plate, mimicking when he was giving batting lessons to Derek Jeter and Bernie Williams.
This year's bobblehead, which will be given to the first 18,000 fans in attendance Aug. 21, will showcase the beloved assistant to the traveling secretary sleeping under his desk.
In the show, George famously stated “I love a good nap. Sometimes it's the only thing getting me out of bed in the morning.”
Don't expect any napping though on the actual day of the game as the Yankees will play host to the Red Sox.
