GameStop will limit sales of new Pokémon TCG products to one per customer, the company announced in a social-media post Tuesday.

The announcement comes in preparation for the May 30 release of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Destined Rivals.

Earlier this month, ahead of the release of the Pokémon: Prismatic Evolutions Super Premium Collection, fans began lining up two days early outside the Chicago GameStop along with tents and portable grills, camping out for the new release.

GameStop even released a press release saluting “the brave, shivering, Red Bull-fueled heroes” camping outside the store. “GameStop stands today to press F to pay respect to these brave warriors of the hobby — the noble few who have chosen to bear frigid nights not out of necessity … but for the love of the game.”

The retailer, traditionally known as a seller of video games, has been making waves in the TCG and overall hobby space recently, particularly in the past year, as it launched its partnership with PSA and facilitated more than 1 million card submissions.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Destined Rivals is set to feature Team Rocket and includes more than 85 Trainer’s Pokémon in total.
