Goldin has launched a new nationwide competition called "Lights, Camera, Bid" in hopes to find the next eBay Live star.

Goldin, which is owned by eBay, began accepting audition tapes on Thursday and will continue to do so until Friday, May 22, at 11:59 PM ET.

Anyone is eligible to audition for the competition, which is designed to test on-camera hosting, selling, professionalism, adaptability, and brand fit.

The competition will take place across five stages, and the winner will receive a conditional offer to serve as an on-air host for Goldin eBay Live programming.

“Our eBay Lives are wildly popular, and ‘Lights, Camera, Bid’ takes it to the next level. This competition is about finding someone who can step in and own every moment on screen in their own, unique way,” said Ken Goldin, Founder and CEO of Goldin. “Many people don’t realize I used to sell on TV, and I know what it takes to keep people watching. We’re looking for the next big star. We’ll be hands-on with this process, and I’m looking forward to every step of the way.”
