Coming off the first MVP season of his NFL career and newly married to actress Hailee Steinfeld, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is making another change entering the 2025 campaign.

Allen announced Friday he has signed an endorsement deal with New Balance after wearing Nike for the first seven seasons of his pro career.

Allen, who sported New Balance cleats during the preseason, added the new agreement includes a commitment with the Boston-based shoe company to help young athletes in his hometown of Firebaugh, California.

“We are making a commitment to Firebaugh to help fund its community sports program in the hopes of providing access to sports, regardless of ability to pay, to help young athletes access sports and chase their dreams,” Allen said in a statement, posted to his account on X. “ Whether you’re a kid just picking up a football for the first time or a high schooler grinding through two-a-days, we’re here for you, cheering you on from afar, from Boston to Buffalo to Firebaugh.”

New Balance adds Allen to a collection of endorsers that includes four-time MVP Shohei Ohtani in baseball and No. 1 NBA draft pick Cooper Flagg.

Allen and the Bills open the 2025 season Sunday night at home in a playoff rematch with the Baltimore Ravens.
