PSA will discontinue its Funko Pop! grading services later this year, the company announced Monday.

Dec. 1 will be the final day to submit Pop! figures for grading, reholder or dual-service submissions. Submissions received by Dec. 1 will be graded or authenticated as normal.

PSA will continue to offer autograph-only authentication and encapsulation for signed Funko Pop! figures. Those items will receive PSA’s blue label to indicate only the autograph has been authenticated.

The decision to cut services for Funko figures at PSA follows major losses by the collectible maker in Q2. According to the Everett (Washington) Herald, Funko reported a $41 million loss in the second quarter ending June 30, bringing the company’s losses to $61 million through the first six months of 2025.

The Herald reports the Everett-based company last turned a profit in the second quarter of 2024. Interim CEO Mike Lunsford cited “ever-changing and uncertain U.S. trade policies” for the losses in Q2, the Herald reported in September.

Funko appointed Josh Simon as its new CEO in August. Prior to joining Funko, Simo served as vice president of consumer products at Netflix.

Cynthia Williams was replaced as CEO in July after serving just 14 months in the role. Williams was hired in May 2024 after serving as president of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Gaming.
