"I've got the golden bobblehead! I've got the golden bobblehead!"

Doesn't have quite the same ring to it as ticket, but it's almost certainly more valuable.

On June 14, the Kansas City Royals are giving away 20,000 Bobby Witt Jr. bobbleheads to celebrate their young franchise player. But seven of the 20,000 will be gold-dipped, signed and randomly distributed among the 20,000.

And among all players in the show, Witt Jr. likely has a great understanding of how valuable these seven could be.

The 24-year-old shortstop, who turns 25 the day of this promotion, is among the league's most avid card collectors, even partnering with PSA to grade 1/1 cards to give to his groomsmen at his wedding.

This promotion phenomenon is certainly picking up speed, after the Dodgers did the same with Shohei Ohtani last season. One of Ohtani's gold bobbleheads from August of 2024 is currently listed on eBay for $5,000.

While Witt Jr. might not break the bank like Ohtani, if previous bobblehead promotions across the league have been any indication, we'll see one of these seven on a secondary market go for more than four figures.
