Talk about a sticky product.
Denny's launched a sneaker collaboration Wednesday called "Sticky Kicks," which the restaurant chain described as "a limited-edition high-top sneaker made with real syrup for the ultimate fusion of American diner culture and streetwear fashion."
The yellow and red shoes, featuring a Denny's logo on the heel and retailing for $195, sold out in just a minute on Denny's official merchandise shop, DinerDrip.com.
The sneakers have since flipped for as much as $900 on eBay, according to confirmed sales listed by the platform's official research tool.
Shoe artist Mache, known for his work with footwear brands and major pro sports leagues, helped create Sticky Kicks, per Denny's.
The shoes were sold in celebration of National Syrup Day. Somebody alert Buddy the Elf.
