March 31: PSA announces its April schedule for events and drop-off submissions.

March 31: As expected, the viral Torpedo bats that have taken over baseball got their own trading card from the Topps NOW program.

Season 50

March 25: The Seattle Seahawks showed off the patch the team will wear in 2025 to celebrate the franchise's 50th season.

Bowman Anime

March 22: Topps shows off a first look at the new Bowman Anime insert, which has become a fan-favorite among collectors and a top chase in the Bowman set.

1 million cards

March 20: GameStop recently announced that it was closing in on 1 million cards graded with PSA, a staggering total in a limited time.

New Bowman

March 13: Topps released the first images for the new Bowman design that drops alter this year.

Stained Glass

March 6: VeeFriends announces a new stained glass-style insert that will be included in the new VeeFriends Topps Chrome drop later this May. The set will have 20 cards featuring fan-favorite characters.

Carroll Collection

March 5: Arizona Diamondbacks star outfielder Corbin Carroll talks about some of his favorite cards while visitng the PSA offices.

Chrome variations

March 5: The new Topps NOW card featuring John Cena, The Rock and Travis Scott is expected to hit a print run of 50,000-plus, meaning additional chrome parallels will be added to orders of the card.

50,000 points

March 5: Topps has acquired the shooting sleeve worn by LeBron James during the game where he scored his 50,000th career point — combined between the postseason and regular season. One Topps NOW 1/1 card will have the Nike Logo included.

Liquid Gold

March 4: The Shohei Ohtani Liquid Gold 1/1 has been pulled — the new Liquid parallels were introduced for this cycle's Diamond Icons set, and uses technology that is normally found on the outside of sealed product boxes.

Totally Certified

Feb. 28: Panini America gives a first look at cards from the upcoming Certified Basketball set. Certified is best known for its Mirror paralells and Totally Certified Autographs.

PSA March shows

Feb. 28: For collectors hoping to submit cards in person, PSA released its show schedule for the month of March.

Tokyo Series set

Feb. 25: Topps is dropping a new Tokyo-exclusive trading card set and Japanese stars including Shohei Ohtani and Ichiro Suzuki are among the key chases.

Panini x Squishmallows

Feb. 24: Panini announces a new trading card collaboration with the ultra-popular Squishmallows brand. There will be over 200 cards with a number of parallels included.

Mascots make the cover

Feb. 24: Look out for Mr. Met, the Oriole Bird and the Cubs' Clark on select boxes of Topps Series 1 cards.

MLB Starter jackets

Feb. 19: Homage announces a new lineup of MLB Starter jackets, which have long been a required item in every super fan's closet.

Topps Chrome Football returns

Feb. 19: Topps partners with Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams for a preview of the new Topps Chrome Football, which releases Wednesday. Watch Williams get "autograph school" lessons from former Bears QB Jim McMahon.

Ohtani Signature Series

Feb. 17: Fanatics Authentic announces a new series of ultra high-end Shohei Ohtani autographs and memorabilia that will arrive on the 17th of each month.

Disney Lorcana preview

Feb. 13: CBR has a preview of two new Disney Lorcana cards set to arrive later this March with characters from Brother Bear and the Jungle Book.

New Disney popcorn bucket

Feb. 13: Starting Thursday, a new Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Bucket will be available at select Magic Kingdom popcorn carts.

MLB partners with Pokémon GO

Feb. 12: MLB plans to bring Pokémon GO to more ballparks by adding club-branded PokéStops and Gyms.

Mirage Spring Training hats

Feb. 12: Apparel brand 47 shows off a preview of the new Mirage Sprint Training hats for the upcoming MLB season. The hats are currently available for $35.

A's to honor Rickey

Feb. 12: The Athletics reveal the jersey patch they will wear throughout the 2025 season to honor Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson, who died Dec. 20, 2024.

Topps reveals Rickwood inserts

Feb. 10: Topps shows a first look at a new Rickwood Field insert set that will arrive as part of 2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball. Topps released the six-card 2024 Rickwood Negro League Collection in 2024, which celebrated the careers of some of baseball’s all-time great Negro League players.

PSA features "Avatar" variants

Feb. 10: PSA details its newest issue of PSA Magazine’s TCG edition and the four variants paying homage to “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”

Upper Deck previews Hockey Allure

Feb. 10: Upper Deck offers a preview for the new 2024-25 Hockey Allure set. Allure is scheduled to release on Feb. 12.

LeBron's McDonald's All-American auto

Feb. 10: Topps shows a preview for the first LeBron James autographs in the McDonald’s All-American Game set. James left Upper Deck after more than two decades to join Fanatics as an exclusive signer. The McDonald’s All-American Game set is scheduled to drop Feb. 13.

Skenes meets his patch

Feb. 9: Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skenes snaps some photographs with his Rookie Debut Patch Autograph 1/1 from 2024 Topps Chrome Update Baseball. The card was pulled by an 11-year-old boy and was recently sent to auction at Fanatics Collect.

Making a "No Name" for themselves

Feb. 8: Topps announces that “No Name” variants will be included in 2025 Topps Series 1. The error is a throwback to the 1990 Frank Thomas “No Name” rookie card, which is considered one of the most coveted error cards in collecting.

Vinsanity covers PSA

Feb. 7: PSA offers a first look at the newest PSA Magazine and cover star Vince Carter. The short-printed variation arrives with a black background.

Feb. 7: Panini America previews cards for the new 2024 Rookies and Stars release.

Topps announces "Player Number" parallel

Feb. 7: Topps announces 2025 Topps Series 1 Baseball will include a new ultra-rare parallel titled “Player Number.” Each parallel is unique and is numbered to that player’s jersey number.
