No federal holiday lands on Oct. 10, but collectors certainly value 10/10 in their own way.
For hobbyists, 10/10 is often associated with PSA’s coveted dual grading service awarding the best of the best gem-mint grades for both the card and an autograph.

To celebrate 10/10, cllct dug into data on PSA’s most coveted grade.
Grading tracker GemRate started the conversation Wednesday when it posted data for the most dual-graded cards in PSA’s report. In total, PSA has authenticated more than 1.4 million cards with dual grades and more than 263,000 so far in 2025.
Savvy collectors won’t be surprised to see Ken Griffey Jr. is the most dual-graded athlete of all time with 10,838 cards in PSA’s pop report. Griffey Jr. has long been a generous signer through the trading card manufacturers as well as public and private events.
His 1989 Upper Deck Star Rookie No. 1, which is among the most iconic cards created, is the most dual-graded card of all time with nearly 3,700 total examples. The next closest is the 1980 Rickey Henderson No. 482 with a population of 1,731.
When digging into the data, ultra-modern cards make up a significant amount of the population. Of the top 15 players with the most dual-graded cards, five have key cards from 2020 or newer. And of those 15, only Nolan Ryan has key cards from what collectors widely consider to be the vintage era.
But beyond the dual 10s, which cards have produced the most PSA 10 grades overall?
Additional data provided by GemRate to cllct shows how much the ultra-modern market dominates the PSA 10 population rankings.
According to GemRate, Victor Wembanyama’s 2023 Panini Prizm base No. 136 has the highest PSA 10 population of any sports card with more than 28,000 examples.
Juan Soto’s 2018 Topps Update No. US300 has the second-highest with a little more than 24,000 examples.
The top 10 cards with the highest PSA 10 populations are all from the ultra-modern era, with several pointing toward heavy prospect speculation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite playing fewer than 600 games through six seasons, Gavin Lux’s 2020 Topps Base No. 292 has nearly 18,000 PSA 10 examples.
Luis Robert, the injury-plagued Chicago White Sox outfielder, takes up two spots in the top 10 with more than 18,000 gem-mint examples of his 2020 Topps Base No. 392 and more than 17,700 of his 2020 Topps Chrome Base No. 80.
Other notable cards with massive PSA 10 populations include Kyle Lewis’ 2020 Topps Base No. 64 (15,400) — Lewis had just 1.8 bWAR in five seasons and last played in 2023 — and LeBron James’ 2018 Panini Revolution Base No. 40 (14,910), which featured the future Hall of Famer in a Lakers uniform for the first time.
It’s not until the 1989 Topps Traded Ken Griffey Jr. (14,750) at No. 17 does the list include a card that isn't from the ultra-modern era.
