Media and entertainment brand Complex has partnered with Fanatics to launch a new series in which athletes and celebrities will share collecting stories as they hunt for their grail cards.

Former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend Tom Brady will join host Joe La Puma for the first episode of “Card Shopping,” which debuts Monday at 10 a.m. ET on Complex.com, the Complex YouTube channel and on the Complex and Fanatics Instagram accounts.

Inspired by Complex’s “Sneaker Shopping” series, the new card-focused show will feature hobby shops across the country in a similar format to the famed sneaker show, which has lasted for more than 12 years and 300 episodes.

For the first episode, La Puma and Brady will visit the new CardVault store in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Earlier this year, Brady acquired a 50% stake in the CardVault franchise, which also has locations at Boston’s TD Garden, Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium and Foxwoods Resort Casino.

In April, CardVault opened its fourth location at American Dream Mall in East Rutherford.

At the shop’s grand opening, Brady told cllct’s Darren Rovell about his passion for collecting as a kid, including spending “every free dollar” from his paper route on trading cards.

Brady is expected to share similar stories on his “Card Shopping” episode.
