The best copy of one of Connor McDavid’s most valuable RPA cards is set to sell later this month at Fanatics Collect, with bidding already reaching $192,000, including buyer’s premium, in the first day of the auction.
McDavid’s 2015 Upper Deck The Cup RPA is limited to 99 copies and features a multi-colored patch along with the Edmonton Oilers star’s autograph and is graded PSA 10 with an autograph grade of 10 — the only one of the three PSA 10 copies to feature a perfect autograph grade.
The record for the card, set by a PSA 10 example without an autograph grade, is $228,000 set in July 2022.
McDavid’s all-time record came earlier this year when his 2015 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Spectrum Teal Autograph Shield 1/1 fetched $305,000.
Of all active hockey players, McDavid’s card market has posted the highest volume over the past year, logging $3 million in sales, according to Market Movers.
