You could almost hear the SportsCenter “DaDaDa, DaDaDa” playing in the background as the A's Denzel Clarke leapt high into the air, scaling the wall in center field to rob the Angels' Nolan Shanuel of a first-inning homer Monday night.
Now, the incredible catch — which many have already called the MLB play of the year — has its own trading card.

Topps announced it was producing a Topps NOW card celebrating the play Tuesday, priced at $8.99 each, with the sale running for 24 hours. Foil parallels numbered to 50 and lower will be randomly inserted.
The 25-year-old Clarke is not exactly a household name. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 draft by the Athletics, he made his MLB debut just last month. Monday night’s game in which he dazzled with the viral catch was just the 16th game of his career. He is currently batting .216.
Clarke’s most expensive card sale to date is barely $1,000.
