The "Miz" keeps on delivering.

Earlier this month, Milwaukee Brewers rookie pitching sensation Jacob "Miz" Misiorowski became the first player in MLB history to earn an All-Star selection after appearing in just five games.

On Thursday, he did something perhaps just as unlikely at a local card shop.

Misiorowski, who told cllct he is a fervent collector, visited Brew Town Trading Co. in Milwaukee suburb, Greenfield, Wisconsin.

Though he came to the store to open Pokémon cards, Misiorowski pivoted to baseball, after spotting the 2022 Bowman Draft set, which includes some of his first cards.

On his third pack, Misiorowski pulled his own Bowman Draft Orange /25.

"He was freaking out. He had a true, genuine reaction, as anyone else does when they pull a card that they're looking for, which is the best part about it," Tommy Rhyner, the store's assistant manager, told TMJ4 in Milwaukee.

Misiorowski then autographed and inscribed the card, writing "hit in shop."

According to Rhyner, that card is never leaving the store now.

"Having a card like that for the shop and such a great story, it's priceless," Rhynder told TMJ4. "It's never leaving the shop."

Amid his rapid ascent in the big leagues, Misiorowski is seeing the same effect in his card market. In April, two months before his MLB debut, Misiorowski's top card sold for $808.

On Sunday, Misiorowski's 2022 Bowman Chrome DP Superfractor Prospect Autograph 1/1 PSA 10 sold for $52,800 to set a record for any Misiorowski at public auction. The result tripled his previous public record of $17,600 paid in June.
