The Topps NOW program will release a new trading card celebrating Pope Leo XIV as the first American pontiff, the company announced Thursday.
Available until Sunday at 3:45 p.m. ET, the card will have base variations for $8.99 each as well as a number of short-printed variations.
The “White Smoke” image variation will be numbered to just 267, which celebrates Leo XIV as the 267th pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church.
Numbered parallels include Gold Foil /50, Orange Foil /25, Black Foil /10, Red Foil /5 and the 1/1 FoilFractor.
The Topps NOW program prints cards to demand, meaning the manufacturer will fulfill all orders of the card placed before the deadline. Numbered parallels will replace orders of the base card in select orders.
A Chicago-born missionary, Cardinal Robert Prevost was elected as the first pope from the United States on Thursday.
