When LIV golfer Ian Poulter signed his Panini Impeccable 1/1 card, he added a message for the eventual recipient: "Sell me this card please."
When collector Cody Rohrig bought a box of LIV Impeccable and pulled the Poulter 1/1, he heeded the message.

Shortly after posting the hit to the "Sports Card Nonsense" Facebook group, Rohrig connected with Poulter and struck a deal.
In exchange for the card, Rohrig said in a comment on the post that he would be receiving $1,000 in cash, four tickets to LIV Virginia, assorted signed memorabilia and the chance to hand deliver the card to Poulter.
“An incredible story I’ll have for the rest of my life,” Rohrig wrote.
Rohrig and Poulter met this past weekend at the LIV event in Virginia to complete the trade. Poulter posted a photo of the card to his Instagram, writing:
“Full circle moment…back in Miami, I signed my 1/1 impeccable @paniniamerica card and wrote on it 'sell me this card please’
"Through the power of social media, @c_roh who ripped the card worked a deal and @majesticksgc invited him to @livgolf_league Washington to reunite me with the card.
"It’s one of the many reasons why I love ripping cards and collecting with the family, for stories like these."
