Topps is celebrating 75 years of Topps Baseball in a big way.
The trading card giant launched 2026 Topps Baseball Series 1 Wednesday morning, it's first official baseball product of the season.
And mixed in the millions of cards is a redemption for a '52 Topps Mickey Mantle, unequivocally the most important card in the history of all Topps sports.
While Mantle was recently supplanted as having the most expensive card in history by the Michael Jordan-Kobe Bryant Dual Logoman purchased by Kevin O'Leary's team, there's zero doubt that should any of the three PSA 10 Mantles in existence come to market, they would shatter the all-time record for a card.
Now this card certainly will not be a PSA 10. But Topps confirmed to cllct the card will be delivered with a PSA grade.
Here are the most recent sale prices for each grade of a '52 Mantle:
PSA 1: $37,820 (2026) PSA 2: $98,626 (2026) PSA 3: $72,136.16 (2025) PSA 4: $96,000 (2025) PSA 5:$231,484 (2026) PSA 6: $213,500 (2025) PSA 7: $347,700 (2025) PSA 8: $1,555,500 (2025) PSA 9: $5,200,000 (2021)
Additionally, there will be redemption cards for two tickets to the 2026 World Series.
