An autographed Flagg card from 2024-25 Bowman Chrome University could set a record this weekend

Arguably the most important Cooper Flagg trading card will sell at Goldin Auction later this week with the potential to capture his market’s best result yet.

Part of Goldin’s June Elite Auction, Flagg’s 2024-25 Bowman Chrome University Autographs Superfractor 1/1 PSA 9 is among the Duke star’s best amateur cards after arriving as the key chase from Topps’ flagship collegiate product.

The card features a signature from Flagg as well as an inscription that reads “From the 207.”

As of Tuesday afternoon, the card had reached $50,020, including buyer’s premium, on seven bids.

Flagg is expected to be drafted with the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2025 NBA Draft on Wednesday night.

Traditionally considered less popular than releases with professional uniforms, collegiate cards have gained popularity in recent years with an increasing number of collectors valuing the earliest cards for star athletes.

As he joins the league, his card market is already established than some All-NBA performers.

To date, 18 Flagg cards — all considered collegiate or amatuer cards — have topped $10,000 or more at public auction with seven of those examples eclipsing $20,000.
