Few segments of the hobby have seen the type of explosive growth as the WNBA over the past couple of years.
And that sentiment is highlighted in data provided by Whatnot in its latest trends report.
The company says WNBA cards grew three times faster than NBA cards on the platform over the past year, tacking on 1,670% growth in search volume in 2025 (after an already-massive 870% leap in 2024).
Obviously, Caitlin Clark was an integral part of the market frenzy this past year, but the company notes surging search volume for players including Paige Bueckers (+530%), Cameron Brink (+330%), Aliyah Boston (+260%) and A'ja Wilson (+240%).
Additionally, autographed WNBA items grew more than 1,000% on the platform.
The report also noted Atlanta was the national hot-bed for WNBA card sales, growing 7,300%.
