Fanatics Collectibles has partnered with Chinese trading card manufacturer Kayou to release NBA cards in China.

Designed by Topps but manufactured and distributed by Kayou, NBA Match Attax 2025 dropped Friday in China online, in Kayou flagship stores, hobby shops and in other retail stores. The cards are the first release from Fanatics' new licensing deal with the NBA.

Friday’s debut features two configurations called Power Pack and Super Pack, which retail for 10 RMB and 20 RMB per pack.

The partnership with Kayou signals an increased priority on the international collecting community for Fanatics, which opened offices in Shanghai and Beijing earlier this year.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with Kayou in this historic deal to bring officially licensed trading cards to basketball fans in China,” Ann Wang, Fanatics Collectibles’ regional president, APAC, said in a statement. “China is home to one of the largest and most passionate basketball communities in the world, and this partnership reflects Fanatics Collectibles’ commitment to serving fandom by creating products and experiences that bring Chinese fans even closer to the players and sport they love.”

Following the launch of NBA Match Attax 2025, Fanatics Collectibles will attend events hosted at NBA House Oct. 8-12 and the Asia Sports Card Show Oct. 10-12 in Macao.

NBA Match Attax 2025 is the first mass market product released by Fanatics under its new exclusive NBA trading card license, which went into effect Oct. 1. Prior to Wednesday, rival manufacturer Panini America had held the exclusive rights to make licensed NBA trading cards since 2009.

Most associated with European football, Match Attax is a trading card game created by Topps that combines collecting with a playable mechanism.

The first traditional trading card set under Topps’ new NBA license, 2025-26 Topps Basketball, releases Oct. 23 with Dallas Mavericks rookie and No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg on the cover.

Pre-orders for 2025-26 Topps Basketball begin Friday at noon ET. Hobby boxes retail for $109.99, and Jumbo boxes sell for $229.99.
