The biggest chase card featuring Cooper Flagg in a Dallas Mavericks jersey to date sold for $180,000 Thursday night to set a record for any Flagg card at public auction.
Considered one of Flagg’s most important professional cards to date, the Superfractor 1/1 topped the previous record of $97,600 for his 2024-25 Bowman Chrome U Autograph Superfractor 1/1 at Goldin in June.
Flagg's Superfractor was pulled last month by a Chicago-area family while setting up Christmas decorations.
Prior to Thursday's result, Flagg’s highest public sales have featured the No. 1 overall pick in either his Duke jersey, a McDonald’s All-American jersey or his suit on draft night. Professional cards traditionally carry a significant premium over collegiate or amateur issues.
In addition to being one of his first key professional cards, the Silver Pack Superfractor 1/1 arrived as part of the first Topps Basketball release in more than a decade. Exclusive rights to make licensed NBA trading cards transitioned to Fanatics and manufacturer Topps on Oct. 1 after being held by Panini America since 2009.
According to data tool Card Ladder, a similar card to the Silver Pack Superfractor, numbered out of 5, sold for $27,500 on eBay on Nov. 8.
