Hobby history will be made again Saturday night.
The 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logoman card featuring Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant is set to sell for a final price that will make it the most expensive basketball card of all time.
As of 2 p.m. ET Friday, bidding had reached $7.076 million, including buyer's premium.
That's already a record price, and it's sure to climb before bidding closes Saturday night ... or possibly Sunday morning as extended bidding could be furious.
With a new No. 1 atop the rankings of basketball's ultimate card hierarchy, cllct lists the 10 most expensive sales in hoops history.
1. 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Michael Jordan-Kobe Bryant Dual Logoman Autographs PSA 6
The record-breaking card features game-worn Logoman patches from two of the game's all-time greats, highlighted by the gold logo worn by Jordan during the 1996-97 season, celebrating the NBA’s 50th anniversary.
With bidding already in record territory and the reserve met, the only question is what the record number will be.
2. 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection LeBron James Gold RPA /23 BGS 9/10

The former record-holder, this sale could not have been timed more perfectly, occurring in the frothy pandemic market of April 2021.
Changing hands for $5.2 million in a private sale brokered by PWCC, it held the record for any basketball card for more than four years.
At the time of the sale, this Exquisite offering also tied the record for the most expensive sports card ever sold, along with a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 9, which sold the same year.
The last copy from the parallel to sell publicly, a BGS 8.5 example, fetched $1.22 million in February 2025.
3. 2018-19 Panini National Treasures Luka Doncic Logoman RPA 1/1
First pulled from a pack of 2018-19 Panini National Treasures Basketball in May 2019 by Layton Sports Cards in Florida, this grail was later sold in a private sale for a sum believed to be more than $400,000.
It was then purchased for $4.6 million in March 2021.
4. 2018-19 Panini National Treasures Luka Doncic Logoman RPA 1/1 BGS 9
The above card appears in the four-slot as well, after it sold in November 2022, following its designation with a BGS 9 grade, nabbing a notable loss of nearly $500,000 and selling again for $3.12 million.
5. 2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Michael Jordan Ultimate Logos Signature Logoman 1/1 PSA/DNA Authentic/10

Though it would take a shockingly long time for the Jordan Logoman from the 2003 Ultimate Collection set to surface publicly, it arrived at PSA headquarters in 2022, nearly 20 years after its release.
It would then sell for $2.928 million in June 2024 at Goldin.
6. 1997-98 Upper Deck Michael Jordan Game Jerseys Autograph /23 BGS 8/8
One of the most significant sports cards ever created, ushering in the modern era of the game-worn jersey autograph card, this BGS 8/Auto 8 example of the limited-to-23 card notched $2.7 million in a private sale brokered by Goldin in 2021.
7. 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection LeBron James RPA /99 BGS 8.5/10
Similar to the No. 2 entry on the list, but limited to 99 rather than 23, this “jersey number” example (23/99) commanded a premium when it crossed the auction block at Goldin in 2021, achieving $2.46 million.
T8. 2020-21 Panini Flawless LeBron James Triple Logoman 1/1

Featuring a triple Logoman of LeBron on the Cavaliers, Heat and Lakers, this 1/1 card sold for $2.4 million in June 2022.
T8. 2003-04 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection LeBron James RPA /99 BGS 9.5/10
Hailing from the same parallel as No. 7 on our list, missing the same jersey number significance but still outranking on condition grade with a BGS 9.5, this card sold for $2.4 million in October 2022.
10. 2015-16 Panini Flawless Kobe Bryant Logoman Autograph 1/1
Reported as a private sale and verified on Card Ladder, Bryant’s most expensive card fetched $2.3 million in August 2025.
