What’s in the box?
Well, it could be GameStop credit.
Whether you’re cleaning out the garage or looking to unload last year’s unwanted holiday gifts (before this year’s arrive), GameStop has the solution with its Trade Anything Day.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, the video-game retailer, which has become a growing home for collectibles, will offer store credit for just about anything that fits in a 20-inch by 20-inch by 20-inch box.

There are some restrictions (and we’ll get to that list in a moment), but for the most part, customers can bring in one unwanted item in the box and unload it for credit on that single day next month. GameStop says it will release details on how the credit will be determined at a later date.
And, of course, you can trade in an old video game, a console, or cards and other collectibles. That’s all pretty standard stuff for a GameStop location.
If you want to get more creative, however, there’s a wide array of possibilities, but GameStop did explicitly spell out some things that won’t be accepted, including hazardous waste, weapons, sexually explicit items and dead animals — although taxidermied animals are permitted.
So, go up in the attic and see what you can fit in the box. It could help buy your next graded card or the newest video game.
