The New York Post is looking to capitalize on the energy surrounding Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the New York City mayoral election Tuesday night with a collectible version of its front page.

Shortly after the democratic socialist candidate was elected over independent Andrew Cuomo, the right-wing paper previewed its Wednesday front page featuring Mamdani hoisting a communist hammer and sickle in the air next to the caption “On your Marx, get set, Zo! Socialist Mamdani wins race for mayor.”
It did not take long for Mamdani supporters to respond on social media expressing their desire to own and frame copies of the paper.
By Wednesday afternoon, after some claimed papers had become difficult to find on newsstands in New York, The Post posted on social media “Today’s headline, tomorrow’s collectible. Own the Post cover everyone’s talking about, now printed on luxe, long-lasting metal.”
It linked to a page on the New York Post shop selling metal prints of the cover for $75.
The product appears to be made-to-order rather than limited-edition.
